Malta is an odd little place, where different cultural influences have left their trace making for an incredible mix of Arab, Italian, English and more. I can't shake the feeling that the people are a little snobbish here, perhaps justifiably given the tourism and the rather claustrophobic atmosphere. Yet, there is little to fault here, the sea is lovely, wonderful architecture abounds and there is good food and a relaxed, perhaps too slow and easy-going, tempo.
Highlight: Those old yellow buses, which do make the best of ricketyness for tourist purposes.
