Visited: Port Moresby, Bomana
As a child, Port Moresby represented the other end of the world for me, and it was with a big smile that I made it here, though as many capitals, this isn't really the place to be in the country, there is much more to see and do elsewhere. The Bomana Cemetary for those who fell in the war is harrowing and I will never forget it. Port Moresby does have its share of houses on sticks that emerge from the water - interesting to say the least. A country I will go to again someday.
Highlight: Bomana War Cemetary - eerie, solemn and a great homage.
