Visited: Conakry, Ile de Roume
One of the more interesting countries in Africa, yet quite overbearing and ominous too. Conakry is hardly a tourist paradise but is never boring, with busy streets and a noisy ambience. The Iles off Conakry are an oasis of calm, but the sea around the place is basically muck. The conditions people live in are rather devastating to be honest.
Highlight: Chaos at the pier for the islands African style.
