First (only) visit: April 2006
Visited: Kandy, Dambulla, Nagombo.
A disappointment for some reason. I don't know why I expected something more exotic than this, or maybe it was my mood, but on the whole I found the place off and the sites predictable. Yes, ok, nice tea plantations and some wonderful temples inside rocks etc. but nothing too spectacular.
Highlight: The monkey that was eating ice-cream. That is one of my favourite photos.
