Fiji is hailed as a wonderful paradise and probably the resorts are great, but that's not how to rate a country. The combination of Pacific and Indian populations is bizarre, yet ill-conceived. The main streets of the cities could be Delhi in miniature, and that goes along with the irritating attitude that comes with that culture. Landscapes are not as idyllic as you may expect, nor are prices low. All in all, forget it. Do other Pacific Islands instead.
Highlight: Indian temples 10,000 miles away from India.
