Visited: Gaborone
In a land of desert alone, the capital cannot really be buzzing, and it isn't really. I didn't see anything much else here: desert lovers find this country amazing. But with one of the highest HIV rates anywhere, clearly something is wrong, despite the fact that it is safe unlike other countries in the area.
Highlight: The array of shoes on sale in the main street.
