Malawi
First (only) visit: January 2008
Visited: Lilongwe, Nkhotakhota, Selma Bay.
Truly a friendly African country, though there isn't all that much to see and do other than enjoy the atmosphere in a setting that is safe. The towns are a dead loss, and even the lake is polluted and the water quite rough, but somehow Malawi will get under your skin.
Highlight: Nkhotakhota pottery factory, an amazing place.
