Visited: Stockholm, Malmo, Uppsala, Kiruna, Ostersund, Are, Dorotea.
Not bad really, with lots to see and lovely landscapes in the summer, lakes and breathtaking green expanses, yet this place certainly lacks umph, which is clear when you see all the drunk hords on a weekend evening. A valient attempt to be a welfare state, but I wonder whether it's all worth it... Prices are horrific.
Highlight: Riding the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki, and crossing the lovely archipelago which makes you want to jump and be part of the landscape.
