First (only) visit: February 2000
Visited: Taipei, Hsin Chu.
This is the only country where I have experienced extreme culture shock for some reason. I found everything here rushed and crowded, very little green space, and the urban mess was unbearable. Maybe I am being unfair to the place, clearly I should visit again someday.
Highlight: Karaoke parlours - way out there.
