First (only) visit: April 2004 Visited: Kangerlussuaq The name is obviously a misnomer, though it does get green in the summer, at least a bit. Still, you will have a hard time finding much green in April, when I was there. The place is interesting for its location, outlandish completely really, and worth a visit. However, local flights are terribly expensive. You have been warned. Highlight: The ice cap, of course, and the sun shining over the thick snow.
